Are we Palm Sunday People?
For real.
Not just on Sunday?
On Monday, too?
Scripture to guide your way to the cross . .
Saturday
When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. Luke 19:37
Who would you have been in this gathering? Why would you have joined the parade? Compare your answer to who you are as you gather to worship.
Sabbath
Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the Lord. These gates lead to the presence of the Lord, and the godly enter there. Psalm 118:19-20, NLT
As you enter your house of worship, thank God for open doors. Praise God for sending His son to love this world. Praise God for the gift of His presence. Practice the praise you will take into your week.
Monday
I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation. The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Psalm 118:21-23,
This week we review the high cost of our salvation. Begin the day with praise. Ask God to give you clear vision to see what He was willing to do for your salvation. Live above every word or attitude of rejection to this message you may encounter.
Tuesday
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Philippians 2:5
Reproducing Christ’s attitude this week is impossible without exchanging our weakness for his strength. Start every day asking for Christ to live in you. Do not ignore His whispers or nudges about your attitude so that his attitude grows and becomes yours.
